| This week we are to meet
with the government doctor who is in charge of the district that
our clinic is in. We met him for awhile last week. He is very
supportive of what we are doing. We are to sign some papers
officially turning the clinic over to us.
What do we need? Medical teams. We
spent most of our money to buy medicine to start the clinics.
The way it works when a medical team is preparing to come we
send them a list of meds most needed for this area. They bring
these and much more. What they don't use they donate to us. This
is the way all the clinics keep providing healthcare. So if you
know medical people we need them. They do not have to be
Methodist. When you go to your doctor you don't care what
religion just that you get well.
We are very happy doing what we are
doing. The area we are in is the most needy of the needy. The
people we are running into, mechanics, pastors or just people
people are as nice, helpful and kind as they are poor. God was
surely at work here long before we got here.
Got to go now, sorry this has been such
a long letter.
With love from Guatemala,
